Party clothes

Could anyone recommend something smart to wear for a size 20 (big bust and tummy), woman who is 5ft 4. I’m unsure what would suit. So any help would be much appreciated.

M and S wide leg velvet trousers in black with their round neck sequin top. This is very comfortable but looks suitably festive. I wear this with black platform trainers, but would also look great with metallic sandals.
