What colour tights for this combo?

Hi lovelies
it’s my birthday night out tonight, 30 of us doing cocktails, dinner and dancing.

here’s the dress and shoes I’m wearing.

what colour tights?

navy or light tan?
I have fairly chunky calves and the dress is mid thigh on me so I was thinking navy opaques but would that look horrible with silver sparkly shoes?

Not dark tights. Or could you go without tights?

Navy if you are going for opaques. Nude if you are doing sheer.

Thanks everyone. Off to John Lewis. The reason I was thinking navy was because I have fat legs but the dark legs/light shoe combo always makes me think of transvestites for some reason.

Happy Birthday! How about ranging out completely with hot pink or teal? I think navy is lovely but could look a bit plain for a night out.
