Help - I’ve let myself go!

Hi, I’m a mum of 2 and I’m definitely lacking on my self care / any kind of beauty routine. I use to take fairly good care of myself, I wouldn’t say I was glamorous at all but friends would always say I looked nice or well put together. I’ve definitely let myself go but I’m thinking should I get my nails done? My eyebrows etc? I work part time now so my income is significantly less, I just think I’ll feel better for doing it. What are your go to’s that you think are worth doing?

Bare minimum for me is hair - a good cut, brows tinted and waxed, lashes tinted (I look like a potato otherwise) and my nails done, short and in a neutral colour.

As PP said…. I think hair. Even if I’m all dressed up and looking fancy if my hair needs doing I look like a bedraggled unkept mess. But if my hair looks ok, I’ll look ok even if I’m in some scruffy jeans and tank top with zero make up (standard look for me lol)

I think the right hair colour can make you look like you have a healthy glow too… E.g my skin is light with freckles and I have light green-hazel eyes my natural hair is quite a dull boring brown. I find if I add a bit of a red tone it just brightens my whole face up a bit and I don’t look so drab and washed out.
