Best eyeshadow to use as liner

Can anyone recommend a long lasting dark brown eyeshadow to use as eyeliner? Preferably a single (not in a palette).

For a long time I’ve used Mac Espresso but it’s possibly too light and fades throughout the day.

I always use Trish McEvoy and have done for years. It doesn't shift at all. Wonderful stuff!

I actually use her regular eyeshadow but ALWAYS with her eyeliner brush:

I was first shown how to do it by a Trish salesperson in NYC 26 years (!) ago and it's never failed me in all that time. It doesn't have to be the Trish eyeshadow (it works well with Tarte eyeshadow too) but that brush is the secret!

Any brown/bronze one in my palettes. I use an eyeliner brush to apply on bottom lashes. I use normal eyeliner on top lash line.

I don't use brown but use a black from this range. That lasts all day. They do do a brown.
