How odd. Three threads posted about winter coats and three threads about shapewear within minutes of each other

Does this seem a bit strange?

There were loads of Shapeware threads the other day. I think someone is Spamming.

And mnhq commented on 3 of the coat threads.

Oh just saw the coat ones. I think the shape wear ones were on different days but all post by mumsnet at same time?

I only noticed the three shapewear threads because they were next to each other and I was looking for recommendations for a friend (who has bought a lovely dress but doesn't want to wear it because she says it makes her tummy look fat - it doesn't). What was weird was all three threads have a deletion for breaking talk guidelines (by the same poster) and then a comment from Mumsnet linking to their shapewear recommendations.

Then I noticed the coat threads, which were also all next to one another and they also all had comments from Mumsnet linking to their winter coat recommendations.

Mumsnet are spamming advertising on the threads then...
