Hi lovely MNers! Please can you help me find a pair of black boots, just below the knee type, but very little-to-no heel! The type that can be dressed up or down

Have you checked White Stuff? I got a lovely suede pair last year, low wedge.

I have these. Pricey but bought in autumn 2019 and worn much of every winter since and they still look great www.timberland.co.uk/shop/en/tbl-uk/women-footwear-boots/premium-14-inch-boot-for-women-in-black-8167r001

I have a pair of Gabor x-slim suede riding boots that fit the bill . I know Gabor can be frumpy but I have a few pairs that I love and wear with anything.

Clarks Pure Caddy are knee length and flat - very comfy and smart. Clarks sheer hi - below the knee and with a v comfy block heel.

Fairfax and Favor do some black suede flat boots; the Regina, Olympia and Octavia.

Crew ones are lovely but narrow calves

@pjmasksitsthepjmasks ah these are gorgeous but the heel is too high! (I know, hardly any heel at all on them, but I just can't do any kind of heel 🤣)!

I got the M&S ones for around £100 and really enjoying them so far. Comfy to walk in, look great, fit a medium sized calf, and not too expensive!

KirstenBlest · 16/11/2022 08:29

Look on auction sites. They aren't currently trendy so you'll probably find hardly-worn ones for a low price

SocksAndTheCity · 16/11/2022 13:21

It depends on your budget as they're not cheap, but the Tracey Neuls Stella boots are the most comfortable I've ever owned and go with everything - they don't have a zip so you can lace them to fit your calves, too 😀

Jones the Boot Makers have lots in their Black Friday sale. These ones look quite flat.

I bought these about a month ago from M&Co (£44), getting a lot of wear out of them. very versatile. Go great with skirts/over leggings/skinny jeans/under bootcut jeans. Flat and comfortable.
