Okay so not exactly a style but definitely an important issue.

I need some that are phenomenally comfy to sleep in. I can’t bear restrictive or heavy fabrics in bed .

I have some very old and holey M&S pjs that I’d describe as ultra light weight stretchy jersey but actually the label is as per my op.

Where oh where can I find some more? They must be:
short sleeve
lose or wide leg fit bottoms - not legging or ankle cuffs
Not itchy lacy trim
Not ribbed fabric
Not shorts
Not clingy or tight

(Btw I’m size 10-12 but often go 12-14 for nightwear for comfort)

Anyone want to help me please? I don’t know how people cope wearing most PJs that are on sale (but realise they’re often just lounge wear)

Sleep naked?

@EmmaStone those are nearly perfect, I just think the button up top would annoy me (prefer a plain loose t shirt style)

@rbe78 🙄

Have you looked at Cyberjammies? I find their modal slouch tops really comfortable and they have a few different bottom options. I can see a lot of their short-sleeved stuff is sold out on their website, but they sell through John Lewis too.

Esprit tend to do a few in that sort of fabric.

Lindex?

@MillyMollyMonday It's a serious suggestion! I also hate PJs, can't stand the way they feel when they ruck up. If you can't bear wearing most PJs, why wear them?

I have THE EXACT same requirements and found my holy grail at Primark of all places. It's a fabric reminiscent of modal and it ticks every single box of your list.

Tu and New Look have some.

I can here to say this! Yea some of the PJs are not nice but they do stock a few pairs at a time that have this heavenly soft and light weight stretch fabric!
Also found my current fav pair at matalan. Again they stock the horrible ones but are also capable of the good ones x

This is 96% viscose 4% elastane. Lovely loose ankles….however it is long sleeved. That’s the only requisite missing for you. Definitely recommend their PJs though and worth looking through them.
