Comfy stretchy smart trousers?

I am looking for good quality classic jersey slim fit (not skinny) trousers with pockets that feel like joggers but look like smart work trousers.

Like these: www.winserlondon.com/shop/clothing/trousers-and-leggings/miracle-classic-trouser-4

Or these: daiwear.com/products/power-move-trousers-black-3-0

But I don't want to spend more than £100. Google isn't getting me anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

I like Uniqlo smart comfort ankle trousers - comfy, stretchy, smart

I have some that I got off ebay, they are per una (but not very per Una-ish as they’re totally plain and classic-looking). So worth a look at M&S as they might have something similar.

Thank you everyone! I should have thought of Uniqlo - I just got their thermal fleece joggers which are so lovely I know I will spend every working from home day in them until spring.

If a wider leg would appeal Boden Hampshire are smarter on than they look on the website.

Have a look at Saint & Sofia. uk.saintandsofia.com/collections/womens-trousers

Penny Plain joggers. They’re an old lady brand but I’ve had quite a lot of compliments about them. Saint & Sofia apartment pants are nice in the floral but the plain ones are definitely too casual for even my quite relaxed workplace

Do you have a link please? Can’t work out which these are

I was looking for some 'smart ish stretchy' black trousers, Morrisons had some in their Nutmeg range for less than £20, little button detail on waistband but they only had very small & very large sizes left. Maybe worth a look if you're near one?

these are so comfortable I have two pairs. They are butter soft, gentle elastic waist and fall really beautifully to look tailored. I would love in them if they weren’t so expensive so I save them for work but I really love them.

H&M cigarette trousers

I tried some on last week and they are so comfortable.
They had little zips and the bottom, were high waisted and had stretch, felt wonderful.
Any of h and m's work trousers are great imo. Under £30

Farawayfromhere · 14/11/2022 17:53

I got the Uniqlo ones after recommendation on here. They brilliant. I think they’re the ones called ‘smart comfort’ trousers

Farawayfromhere · 14/11/2022 17:53

*they’re

Featheryboa · 14/11/2022 17:55

H and M have a few different cigarette trousers. Is the ones at £17.99?

Also, how do you deal with the chilly ankle gap at this time of year?

TulipTuesday · 14/11/2022 18:22

M&S slim ankle grazer trousers are my work go to. They’ve got an elastic bit in the back and are super comfy.

I’m quite small (5’2”) so I buy the regular length instead of petite so they come up the ‘normal’ length of trousers, thus preventing chilly ankles!
