Brassy hair

Hi all blondes

Please let me know how you stop your highlighted hair from going brassy/warm?

I've used wella toners at home which are great but only last about a week, if that!

Are you using purple shampoo?

Yea L'Oréal purple shampoo but was told to alternate between that and normal shampoo as purple shampoo can dry your hair out. (I don't see much difference in colour when I use the purple shampoo)

I used purple shampoo and conditioner. All the time. My hair wasn't dry or brassy.

L'Oréal I think. It was a couple of years ago.

Lee Stafford icey blondes shampoo, conditioner and the treatment mask in the round tub. Usually 3 for 2 in boots. Leave on each for aslong as possible and it will keep you blonde blonde blonde.

They also do a spray in toner to put on aswel as a heat defence spray and boom your hair stays blonde

The more you use these products the lighter it gets so when you are satisfied leave off for a few days and then use again. Don't worry about over toning either as you can warm the colour by leaving off a few days or just issuing the shampoo.

Fudge clean blonde shampoo works for me.

Ive just bought the Lee Stafford shots to try.

I use this but don't go over the recommended times as it can leave a blue-ish tinge. Works well though. I believe the Fanola shampoo is good too.
