Simple face wipes

Hi,

So before anyone comes at me, I know makeup wipes are frowned upon in the skin care world.
However, I have acne prone skin, and the regular Simple face wipes, followed by Cerave Foaming cleanser, are the one things that don’t irritate my face and give me acne.

Everywhere seems to have taken the regular Simple wipes off the shelves and replaced them with the biodegradable ones. I know they’re better for the planet, but they’re as good as a paper jonny, as my my Nana would have said 😅
I’ve woken up with sore eye lids and a tight, irritated face.

Does anyone know of anywhere still selling the original wipes, or do they no longer make them? Any alternative? I’m allergic to something in micellar water and there are very few things that don’t irritate me or give me awful acne.

Thanks!

You can buy in bulk on Amazon - albeit the price seems to have gone up recently. It used to be significantly cheaper than buying individual packs but now isn't. Still an option though.

I'm not sure if they've stopped making them but I never see them anymore in supermarkets or Boots etc. If you have a decent sized B&M near you then there were loads in our local last time I went, I think £3 for the twin pack.

Now I know why I have sore eyes and spots on my chin.

If you're using the face wash after can't you just use water and a micro fibre cleansing cloth - Primark is good for these - instead of face wipes

I did try that, but it really upset my barrier (Erase your face cloths), which led to a lot more acne. I have to be so careful as not only do most things trigger acne, I’m also allergic to mystery ingredients, such as in the micellar water I’ve tried. I’d finally locked down the winning combo that didn’t irritate me, so it’s really frustrating!

Copy and paste the ingredients list from the simple wipes onto google and a word doc. and compare to other wipes such as Boots No 7 and see if any have very similar ingredients
