I know quite few people that use this but it £56 for the shampoo and conditioner!

I mean that is a lot for shampoo. They all say the same thing which is you only need a tiny amount.

There are deals and offers so I need to find a good one.

How Much do you pay and where from?

Do you think it's a lot of money but worth it?

Allbeauty.com currently has 15% discount

Mercurial123 · 13/11/2022 04:52

I didn't rate the shampoo and conditioner. They didn't do much for my hair. Number 3 and possibly 0 are the best products for me.

WhyOY · 13/11/2022 06:59

Get a little trial set so you can try for your self. No3 was the game changer for me, the rest I can take or leave as nice to haves

ping78 · 13/11/2022 07:14

I paid £45 last month, lookfantastic usually has a 20% off code

ping78 · 13/11/2022 07:14

And cash back

Isabelle70 · 13/11/2022 07:38

I only use the number 6 and a bottle lasts me a year using it 5 days a week.

Namechangeangeforthisthread · 13/11/2022 07:47

I bought the trade size bottles from Amazon a few years ago and just kept topping up the small bottles. I think they were £90 each but have lasted at least 3 years.

something2say · 13/11/2022 07:58

What's it for? I've heard of it, but never tried it. I do curly girl, very thick curly hair.

SavingsThreads · 13/11/2022 08:03

I've used No 0, 3, 4&5 (that's the shampoo and conditioner), 6 and 8. Don't rate any of them except 4&5. I have mid/long highlighted hair and the ends are just so rough. Olaplex hasn't helped at all after about 6months of use

Castaspell · 13/11/2022 08:05

Shop around, call local stockists. I work at one of 3 salons in my town and we sell it at RRP of £28 for 1 but on a multi buy deal of £49 for 2 which the other salons don't seem to - we sell to their clients! There's always deals on LookFantastic too.

tenbob · 13/11/2022 08:06

I use 4&5 and it is incredible for my very thin hair

I buy it when SpaceNK has a 20% off flash sale

it has gone up a lot in the last year though…

but a bottle lasts me around 4 months. I use a penny sized amount for my below-my-shoulders hair

Housewife2010 · 13/11/2022 08:10

Olaplex 3 is in many of the advent calendars this Christmas so there are lots of bottles on eBay.

Yes ebay is good this time of year for advent calendar and gift sets being broken down.

jamontoastaddict · 13/11/2022 08:29

Thanks everyone really helpful. It was on look fantastic for £33 last week with two discounts but saw it too late. This sounds like a good deal and the consnsus on here is about £40 is usual.

@WhyOY a travel size kit would be ideal for a Christmas present

@something2say it's a bond repair system that claims to rebuild and fix your damaged hair. No 3 is the hair perfect or and no4 and no5 are the shampoo and conditioner. Lots of salons used the others as part of a colour treatment

@tenbob I have exactly the same hair as you.

I've been using the fake Aldi version since Summer and it's just ran out.

WhyOY · 13/11/2022 08:31

I had one like this: Trial kit - look fantastic but without the zero.

The shampoo and conditioner are nice but very much a luxury purchase and it's the 3 thar makes the difference for me

tenbob · 13/11/2022 08:39

If you have thin and fine hair, I also highly recommend a t3 curaluxe hair dryer

A quick rough dry leaves my hair looking nearly as good as after a salon blow dry and they seem especially good for fine hair

They are ridiculously expensive new but they are always on eBay

rainbowandglitter · 13/11/2022 08:41

A few people I know are saying it's ruined their hair. I think a lot of people were on social media saying this recently too.

Era · 13/11/2022 08:48

It will ruin your hair if you use it too much and overload it with protein. It will become very brittle.

I use the shampoo and conditioner and then number 2 which is a more concentrated version of number 3. I buy the big trade bottles. I have very long thick hair. The shampoo lasts me a year. Conditioner about 9 months. The number 2 which is really the key treatment product lasts a LONG time. You should only be using it once every 4 weeks or so.

I think some people get carried away - they like the results when they first use an oloplex product so use them every time or lots in the range. But yes I've seen this too. I wouldn't go out and buy a massive bottle without trying it first.

jamontoastaddict · 13/11/2022 09:34

@WhyOY I'mGoing to get that trial pack thanks seem ok price and has lots of bits that will last and a while and I can try the shampoo and conditioner.

And I can get another 22% off and free deliver if I get some thing else and I need an eyeliner so all great!

My hairdressers said not to use it daily as it probs my too much as I wash my hair every day. She said most use 2-3 times a week as that is how often most people Wash their hair.

I cannot for love nor money find the no 2. 😩

SavingsThreads · 13/11/2022 21:55

@ememem84 #1 and #2 are for professional salon use only, that's why you can't find them

Era · 13/11/2022 22:26

You can sign up to the hairdressing supplier websites and they will sell it to you.
