Double cordruoy?

I know double denim is a no-no, but is double cordruoy? I've got a pair of straight legged cords in green, and I'm struggling to find anything to wear on the top half. I dug out an oversized black cord shirt, and the colours and shapes work really well together, but I'm not sure about the textures. Do I look like a mole, or an elderly farmer??

Even single is a no. Unless you are Karen Carpenter and it’s currently 1974 then double is right out of the question.

I'd vote yes. I love corduroy and the 70s look. You could wear the shirt open over a polo neck to break it up/ramp up the 70s effect

I love cord and wear it most days. Just go for double cord you like it - people double denim now anyway.

^if you like it

Green trousers and oversized black shirt sounds great and it's cosy fabric.

Go for it! I love cord and would do double cord if I had a cord shirt.
