I know I'm not as much of a regular as I used to be (and would like to be if life didn't get in the way!) but thought I'd start the new thread as I know @EllaPaella often ends up needing to do it so thought she might want a break, and I had a spare 5 mins and would hate to lose you all!

Can I ask where your black flare jeans are from? Loving your outfit from last night...I feel I need to up my blazer game...but it's hard going into winter, it's so cold where I am and all my winter coats won't fit over a blazer 🤷‍♀️

Awww thank you🥰 it seems to have gone lighter in colour just recently, I'm thinking the sun has bleached it lighter over the summer!

Forgot to add before my phone died @toucaninjapan I really like those outfits from your magazine, mind you I am married, last time I checked and have been for 15years lol, i love all the skirts there so pretty, and the faux fur tops remind me of a little bolero I wore on my wedding day, I do love faux fur though, but as I get older I find it suits me less, not sure why?!😁

We had a pyjama day for Children in Need so I wore loungewear from Thought and Stan Smiths.

Will check out everyone's outfits when I manage to sit down with a G&T!

What a miserable week it’s been weather wise! So depressing and grey, I feel like we’ve had no daylight at all. Endless rain.

@crazysausagespart2 they are just New Look flare jeans, cost about £30 and actually very nice quality.

@toucaninjapan the neutral/cream theme seems strong in that article which is certainly similar over here at the moment.

@EllaPaella thank you for a lovely compliment, I know what you mean it has been sooo dark and a bit dingy, although we had sun for about 3hours today, then really dull and rainy, I love your casual chic look today, I want a hoodie but can never find them oversized enough for me (I'm quite a chunky bird😉) I may have to start eyeing up dhs hoodie collection, he won't know if one is missing!😁

Gorgeous dress @Softpebbles - you look fab. Yes they are the Hoff Edinburgh trainers. Had them a couple of months. I have two pairs of Hoffs, so comfy.

@toucaninjapan - I hear you on the inconvenient childcare arrangements. When DD started school, she did half days for TWO TERMS (summer-born). Which meant that either DH or I had to drive from work to her school, from school to nursery and from nursery back to work every lunchtime. I think I’ve largely blocked out that period (DD is 18 and at university nowadays).

I’m enjoying rediscovering my jumpers at the moment. Although I expect I’ll be longing for warmer weather before too long!

I know I’m late to the party, but I was really sad to hear recent news about Joules.
I have some lovely bits from there, and some of DD’s most favorite clothes are also from Joules.
I believe they will get bought by another company, but surely their current struggle to attract investors would mean that whoever buys the company would do a rebranding to some extent. This thought has maybe made me rush to buy one of the polo shirts that DD loves in a bigger size (only 7y was available… well, it’s just mere 6 years to wait). And maybe I was contemplating whether I should buy that brown hat I had on my wishlist (ended up persuading DH to buy me a stripy sweatshirt with embroidered lobsters as you would never ever find something similar here and aren’t lobsters cute). It would be sad if Joules disappeared and even more sad that people would lose their jobs.

What a beautiful and warm sunny day here. My friend and I took a stroll around Tokyo station, and we saw at least 5 couples having their wedding photoshoots done, as well as some people in kimonos taking photos for the coming-of-age ceremony and the traditional celebration for 3-5-7 year olds.

So boots and ankle gaps - what is ok. Is this ok? Boots are really old and Clark’s - I really like some of their shoes and boots and they fit me well. Jeans river island, stripes all saints and pink jumper m and s!

Black very old slip dress from somewhere, with a wide sleeved jumper from Karen Millen that my partner thinks is the stupidest looking thing ever but I love it! Boots are Blowfish from Schuh. PurplecatDog has his jammies on as you see - it’s Baltic in central Scotland!
