I know I'm not as much of a regular as I used to be (and would like to be if life didn't get in the way!) but thought I'd start the new thread as I know @EllaPaella often ends up needing to do it so thought she might want a break, and I had a spare 5 mins and would hate to lose you all!

Haven't posted for ages, have been lurking though, I love autumn and all the autumn colours.

Oh no @OublietteBravo hope the ceiling leak isn't a major one and can be easily fixed. Hopefully it's just a loose tile?

Excuse the public toilets photo! This was yesterday. Haven't changed out of dog walking clothes yet and I currently resemble a drowned rat so todays photo will come later!

Back to uninspiring nursery run outfits.
Lately I've been feeling quite tired (emotionally mostly) because of these nursery trips, you could reach the nursery 10 min by car, but we don't own one as you don't really need it in Tokyo, so each evening since we moved in July I have to spend 1 hour walking/ train commuting (8 min by train and everything else is walking) from door to door with 10.5 kg/ 1stone 9 pounds heavy toddler who had quite a tantrum today whilst in her baby carrier, hitting my chest with the back of her head with all her might. I'm having it easier physically now than in the tropical heat in summer, but there are more tantrums now and I just hope we will be granted a place in some nursery closer to home in April. Maybe I should look into changing our route, I'm walking a lot because we opted to avoid changing metro lines so have to go walking to stations located a bit far from nursery & home, however changing the route won't change total commute time because line changing times are vile and DD has even more tantrums while in metro. 🙄
I'm trying to see it in positive light, like I have this fantastic opportunity to have a challenging physical activity every day that helps me stay healthy and in shape, but today I'm just a bit too tired for that.

I have 4 children and by christ they love testing you at the most awkward times you can think of, mine have had me in tears at times when they were terrible 2s, my eldest ds literally used to scream the shopping malls down from the age of about 6months to a year it was dreadful and don't get me started when he 3🙈, my dd used to throw tantrums all the way round the supermarket it was at the time felt like hell, it was really, really hard as a mum not to take it personally, but it really isn't to them their merely just venting, their tired and bored too, I'm so sorry you have to walk its hard( were in london and we dont have a car either but sometimes i wish we did) like you said especially when you've got a heavy lovely chunk strapped to you and on top of that you have to be mum and keep your wits about you, but you are doing a fantastic job, you really are, you'll get their, you'll figure it out, and hopefully get a nursery place nearer, your an awesome mummy dont sweat it👍😊

We've tried attaching the toys etc., basically if she's in good mood, she'll be content with anything, even if it's just a leaf from a tree, but if she's fussy than no toy or book, even it has her favorite cartoon character on it, would work. 😩
Btw I second @countrypunk re you need to show us the closeup of your hairstyle! Also I'm interested to see those necklaces you are wearing closely, you really know how to match things!

Keep your chin up and hopefully you get a nursery place closer to home. Sorry to hear about the leak @OublietteBravo . Hopefully it's easily fixed. Yesterday top and skirt white stuff. Hard to see the details because the light is so poor.

@toucaninjapan thats a rubbish journey and I feel for you. At one stage I had 3 children in three schools all of which started at the same time and two schools were in a neighbouring county! It was horrendous

I've tried getting pics of my hair up do for those who wish a peek, it's really not that fussy, it's literally a ponytail half pulled through then I pull lots of little strands out and twiddle the length and push to one side, then tighten the scrunchy but heighten the front (if that makes any sense), few pins and done! My jewellery is mainly from accesorize and lyst (when dh isn't spending😉) I like layering necklaces so pick lots of chunky amd skinny chains then put 2 maybe 3/4 on at a time, I've a thing for coin necklaces at the minute! MR T eat your heart out😆

Hair do and necklaces, excuse pull up bar in background dh still has to move it to gym in basement (his list is building up, I think it's reminder time)
