I know I'm not as much of a regular as I used to be (and would like to be if life didn't get in the way!) but thought I'd start the new thread as I know @EllaPaella often ends up needing to do it so thought she might want a break, and I had a spare 5 mins and would hate to lose you all!

@OublietteBravo I stood in my back garden with the dog at 3am this morning and it was sooo mild, I was in a tshirt and not even a shiver, it definitely feels like spring, it's really annoying, I've got coats to be wearing 😁 love the dungarees

I'm ready for going out out! Off away for the weekend, starting with a gig as soon as we get there so I'm wearing my gig outfit for the journey (with a fleece on top!)

This is yesterday's outfit, all stuff I've worn several times lately.

I know we don't want to turn this into a menopause thread but when should you approach a GP about symptoms?

For the last couple of years I've had joint pain, constant night sweats, weight fluctuation (not significant but very different to the static low-weight I've always been prior), hot flushes, dizziness, confusion. Peri is in my head for some reason but has been dismissed by every department I've been passed to due to my age and the fact my cycle is still like clockwork. I'm only 38 but my mum started going through menopause at 40.

@EnoBaby when symptoms interfere with your daily life. So, make an appointment

@Puddinandpie I spoke to DDs nurse when she visited recently. People who have had a blood cancer( like me and coincidentally DD) take longer than 'normal' to recover from viruses and in her experience even people in perfect health when they get covid can take around 12 weeks to fully recover from it. After 12 weeks it's long covid.

@EnoBaby you do not look 38, you look alot younger, I'm 34 and look a sight older than you! But yes if something in your gut is telling you it's peri, your gut usually isn't wrong trust me on this one, always follow instinct get it checked out, even just for piece of mind, I know its hard when your a mum and you put everyone/everything else in front of you, but remember you have to look after you too😉😊

Gosh I think there must be something in the air, so many of us are feeling a bit crap!

Thanks @Sooverthemill and @Puddinandpie - I'll begin the lengthy and frustrating process of making a GP appointment on Monday.

If that proves to be of little use, my school's HR provider offer a menopause support service so I'll speak to my head on Monday morning.

I feel rotten with it all today and still can't decide what to wear - I can't bloody let thus kill my passion for style!!! 😆

@Softpebbles love that jumper, don't get me started on b&q I could drag dh round there for hours just looking at wallpaper and chandeliers (I think I need to get a hobby)🤣

I managed to get myself dressed and out, but suffered a horrible bout of car sickness first (runs in my family ffs) in the way.

A bottle of wine in and I'm feeling loads better ☺️

@Littlemiss74 of course you can, I'm the same I buy what I like and then I'm like "oh crap what should I wear with that random top (spend ages looking/figuring out) then realise it goes with lots of items and becomes a firm favourite in my wardrobe! Random items can be hidden gems😉

Penultimate night in Europe. Could do with a jacket potato and salad in front of the telly. But off out into Amsterdam to a fish restaurant.

Hope you feel better soon @Sooverthemill and @EllaPaella . There's lots of viruses going round at my work I've been off as have several colleagues - another one was sent home on Thursday. I forgot to take a picture on Friday. I wore this Jenson top with grey Planet trousers as it was warm again.

Comfy again, this time as it’s hair washing day for DD which is hard work ( she can’t get out of bed). Yesterday was quite relaxing thank goodness

@EnoBaby it definitely sounds like you need to talk to your GP. I do think that it's a very British thing to not want to make "unnecessary" doctors appointments but so often people suffer needlessly when they don't have to. Get that appointment asap!
