I know I'm not as much of a regular as I used to be (and would like to be if life didn't get in the way!) but thought I'd start the new thread as I know @EllaPaella often ends up needing to do it so thought she might want a break, and I had a spare 5 mins and would hate to lose you all!

Got a Zara order and this dress plus a shirt I'm wearing tomorrow was all I've kept. I'm definitely finding things are so cheaply made they really aren't worth bothering about and I have guilt about their ethics definitely lesson learnt!

Testing a theory that thin cashmere is as warm as a thick merino jumper! It’s minus 1 so it is bloody cold still. We have had the heating on constantly since Monday night. Thank god we don’t have a smart meter so I can’t see how much it’s costing ( DD can’t control her body temperature and needs a constant 23 degrees)

today I am hoping to speak to GP to ask if he can chase my hospital appointment that I have been told they have no idea when they can fulfill because of lack of consultants and ask if I should go private ( which would be painful morally for me) AND going back to the house we like with builder to work out costs of work we would want done for DD. So it could be an expensive day!

Love that outfit @EnoBaby and your dress today @OublietteBravo. @Sickoffamilydrama really like your new Zara dress - I have lots from there but the quality can really vary. I find going into the shop much easier as I can see what the make and fabric is like before I buy, and their returns process if I remember rightly is a bit of a faff so puts me off buying online. @Sooverthemill your jumper yesterday is lovely - you are so clever, I'd love to be able to knit, one of these days I'm determined to take the plunge and start.
