I know I'm not as much of a regular as I used to be (and would like to be if life didn't get in the way!) but thought I'd start the new thread as I know @EllaPaella often ends up needing to do it so thought she might want a break, and I had a spare 5 mins and would hate to lose you all!

I purchased shoes last year literally NYE from friends boutique and they have arrived (had to wait for right size to come in) I love them, they are just soooo cute! But I have a confession I have made one purchase so far this year, but it's not for me it's for dh....I couldn't resist 😉 there the clash dms and oh my they are fab such a worthwhile purchase (and he absolutely bloody loves them) so win win!!
Also forgot to add my boots from RI came I bloody love'em but they need to stretch round the ankles a bit for my bloody fat cankles to fit (I will fit in them if it kills me) tue pink trousers came also and they will fit in a few months time, I hope🙈

Super busy later, so rushing round trying to get everything sorted now, I've taken a pic of my outfit but the colours are bit hard to tell, so I have taken close up of colours/patterns of blouse and pleathers, blouse is a really pretty floral and pleathers a re a burgandy red and knitted vest is a lush dark green

Those suits would look amazing on you @toucaninjapan! Isn't it interesting how countries differ in terms of expectations of workplace dress? Brightly coloured suits are more and more common in the UK and I don't think anyone would comment or find those Next ones that unusual, although fashions do creep up on us and I think 5 or 10 years ago a pink trouser suit probably would have stood out quite a lot. So maybe that shift will trickle to Japan eventually! And glad that you kept the trousers they looked fab 😊.

@IndianSummer78 I know I love'em there just too cute, my friend owns a boutique in Romford, so I get pics come through when she thinks something has come in which I might like (it's very dangerous, I have another friend with a boutique in Essex, there's no hope!🤣) I've already been bombarded with pics this year, it's getting harder to say no🙈

In the office today. Boots from Terry de Havilland - so comfy and I love knee high boots when it’s chilly. Dress is Claudie Pierlot.

Dress phase eight

Today’s been full of small fails. I’m reminding myself that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
Wearing lots of color today (all Sezane) & working from a cafe in an attempt to boost my mood. Also I might have splurged on a new pinky ring for my upcoming birthday in spring. I used to wear a beautiful diamond ring on my little finger without taking it off for 2-3 years straight, until I’ve lost one of the diamonds, so this time I went for a ring without any stones. The design looked really special (maybe inspired by some traditional Russian/Slavic ornaments? The brand is called Cocoshnik after all, even though it’s a Japanese company).

It disturbs me how short I look in photos. How do I angle my phone so that I look less stumpy?

Good morning I've lurked for the best part of a year, I love all your outfits.

Today I'm wearing cropped wide jeans (not cropped on me as I'm short) by jigsaw - the button came off so I replaced it with an orange one . T shirt M+S , grey cotton cardi via charity shop.
