I know I'm not as much of a regular as I used to be (and would like to be if life didn't get in the way!) but thought I'd start the new thread as I know @EllaPaella often ends up needing to do it so thought she might want a break, and I had a spare 5 mins and would hate to lose you all!

we haven’t started yet with Christmas decorations as usually I wait until at least 20th because of family birthdays and we also have Hanukkah starting on 18th so that’s extra stuff. Might get tree this weekend though as DH almost bought one on Wednesday evening when he was killing time in waitrose waiting for vet. He doesn’t like Christmas but likes a bare tree. He also made a driftwood one from bits off the beach a few years ago we usually put up

It’s so cold and DH and I are heading out for the day so definitely a day for layers and a wooly jumper (I love a wooly jumper!)

@KiteflyingKoala that onesie is just wow! It must feel incredible on the skin. Wearing a cashmere jumper makes you feel like a cloud is hugging you, and how heavenly would a cashmere onesie feel like?!

@Puddinandpie I wish we had a Christmas tree! This time of the year I enjoy following some Facebook groups where people show how they decorate their houses for Christmas.
Maybe we will buy a Christmas tree next year, when DD will be bigger. It's a small dream of mine to decorate home beautifully each year for the festive season. I'm sure your house would look like a Victorian fairytale on Christmas Eve!🎄
For now, I only own a wreath I bought last year (which we can't even put on our entrance as it's a sliding door and there are some inconveniences it brings), some small contemporary Christmas tree (last year's photo) and - I don't know what do you call it? kind of a sparkly lantern/art?

@toucaninjapan put your wreath up indoors, I've got one on the front door and a smaller one indoors just couldn't resist! I'll take some pics once the house is decorated like Santa's victorian grotto😁 I love your little wooden decoupaged Xmas tree, my husband makes similar to that and I paint and craft them, it's just adorable i also have a whole tree purely for me and dc's to hang our handmade xmas decs on, I love Xmas and all the twinkling lights🤩 I know what you mean about the tree though when my dc were little there little hands couldn't resist pulling the tree down at least 5 times before Xmas day, which then made the tree look like something out of national lampoon's Xmas vacation tree after the cat jumped in it🙈

Coat has come and it's lush I have never felt anything soooo soft in my life! It's really warm too! Bonus it fits perfect, pics don't do it justice!
Also had knitted waistcoat turn up I ordered from chicwish and boots from nastygal

Everyone looking great! Isn’t it bloody cold! We have a hoar frost and it looks like it’s snowed. We have a sitter today and will go into town to mooch and then get a pizza off our son as he has a weekend residency at one of the pubs. First chance to go there.

Super cosy again today in cashmere jumper & joggers (charity shop find!) and Hoff trainers. Not up to much, pottering at home and in the garden and may pop to shops to get ingredients for Christmas baking with DC

Last night I saw Friends for dinner and wore a but of sparkle - old sequin skirt from M&S 2019.
Today I'm off for a spot of Christmas shopping and meeting a friend for a drink 🥃
