What concealer will actually work on my dark circles?

It doesn't matter how much I sleep or how much water I drink, I have perpetual dark circles under my eyes and no concealer seems to help. Can anyone recommend one with good, long-lasting coverage?

The new Charlotte Tilbury concealer is amazing. Be careful to not buy their older version as it’s pants! The new one however is great! Good luck!

You need a colour corrector rather than just a concealer. I use a Bobbi Brown one but I hear good things about the Revolution one!

I use Bobbi Brown under eye corrector which I find really helps.

IME it depends why you've got dark circles.

If you genuinely have a discolouration then agree with colour corrector.

If they are shadows because your under eyes are puffy (like mine) corrector won't really help and you need something reflective. I find touche eclat helps but still waiting for someone on here to direct me to the perfect solution!

If you look into a mirror in very good daylight with your head tilted up and the light falling directly on your under eyes, are the dark circles still there? If so, colour corrector, if not, they're shadows and you need light reflector.

If anyone has found a way to get rid of the puffiness in general I'd love to know.

I think it's genetic. The dark circles are definitely always there. There is a real indent as well which I think is a major part of the problem - I guess whatever I put on, it won't fill out the hollows. I will look at the colour correctors recommended, thanks evrryinr for the suggestions - I have tried Bobbi Brown in the past but found it a bit cakey.

I have the same problem and I've found Bye Bye Under Eye by IT Cosmetics to be the best I've used so far. It's very thick so you only need a bit, but it actually hides the circles and stays on for ages.

Revolution concealers are very good

Seconded, I love this stuff. Tried everything I could get my mitts on in the big shops' cosmetics departments (Selfridges etc), but this was the best. It lasts all day, too.

Huda concealer is meant to be fab and doesnt crease.

I use the Revolution peach colour corrector, it’s excellent.
I have very dark circles.
I apply a layer of colour corrector (over eye cream) then I use my foundation.

Another vote for colour corrector. I use the Bobbi brown peachy shade - the correct shade depends on the colour of your dark circles.

This is what I use. It doesn't cover them completely and tends to separate throughout the day. Seems to be the best of a bad lot at the moment.
(I've had ttf as well, but still need a lot of concealer).

superplumb · 21/11/2022 17:47

Huda is meant to be amazing. Full coverage, doesn't budge or settle in wrinkles. I plan to buy it when im next I'm boots

Blossom45 · 22/11/2022 20:24

I have dark circles too and am using a concealer by Laura Mercier which I really like.

Bananaman123 · 22/11/2022 23:20

For me a light peach colour corrector is better than concealer. Rimmel do one and I have one from yes style too that’s good. I have very light skin tone so anything deeper than peach doesn’t work

newnamequickly · 22/11/2022 23:27

This stuff. I had a free sample and cannot believe the difference. It's not even concealer. High performance and covers lightly and naturally.

Teint Idole Ultrawear 02 Lys Rose. Lancôme.

I have the same colouring in my skin around my eyes as Portuguese heritage. Lighter skin in my face but eye skin is dark.

Appleblum · 23/11/2022 10:54

Dior forever concealer. I have really dry skin under my eyes and this doesn't accentuate the dryness.

I also chose a shade that's slightly darker than what I was initially matched to and I find it hides the darkness better.
