Hair removal

I'm desperately in need of removing facial hair permanently. I remember trying laser in my 20s and it just left me with scabs to deal with, very unsightly! What do people do these days? I'm tired of spending 2 minutes putting makeup on but needing an hour to pluck hair out of everywhere, including my nose!! Thanks in advance.

Dermaplaning? Not permanent but helps a lot. And it cheap.

Ooh what's that!? Heading to Google to have a read...

Anyone got any other suggestions? I have both a moustache and a beard that needs removing! 🙈

Electrolysis hurts like a bitch, but it's wonderful.

I'm not sure laser should scab. Did you go to a good place? Had you used stuff like vitamin c or retinol in the days before treatment?

Didn't use anything. I was in my 20s and I didn't even know what a moisturiser was in those days! Is electrolysis permanent?

Like laser you have to get it just right. But once the follicle is destroyed its destroyed. I have had more luck with electrolysis than laser. Laser is quicker and a lot less painful.

Oh, and aloe Vera is good for after laser. Maybe if it scabbed it was too high a strength for your skin? I think the fairer you are the higher the dial can go. But I dont know much.

If you get electrolysis get a good practitioner. Bad ones can cause scarring.

Emla cream! It numbs the skin. Put it on 30 mins before any skin treatment. It is barbaric that all beauty treatments dont use this routinely. Buy it at boots.
