I had a Sindy with a yellow leotard and wrap around skirt that fastened with a popper- I remember thinking it was just like Bucks Fizz wore in Making Your Mind Up. I also loved that Sindy had heeled mule style shoes in all colours to match her outfits. As a small child who was never allowed slip on shoes (only buckle or lace up- think of the risk of injury!) I was determined that adult me would swan around in brightly coloured slip on mules and quite possibly dance wear.

I had day to night barbie, peaches and cream barbie and glow in the dark barbie.

It was day to night barbie I wanted to emulate!

She was Sindy not Cindy

I loved this barbie and her outfit. I'm sure she came with a heart stamp and a notepad.

I loved the red velvet bodice.

I also had a Sindy doll. She had lots of 80's clothes, including a brown rara skirt I wanted in my size.
