Winter trousers

Help! I’m stuck in such a rut, I’m looking for nice casual trousers I can wear with T-shirts and jumpers in the winter that aren’t jeans. I’ve always struggled to find jeans that are actually comfy. A few years ago I had Next ‘relaxed skinnies’ which were ok but they don’t exist any more ☹️

In the summer i wore linen trousers a lot but they are far too lightweight for the winter (I live in Glasgow). I have quite a big bum and big thighs for my size (12) so I really struggle with trousers.

Any recommendations?

I mostly wear jeans, but I also have three pairs of Uniqlo heatech trousers - two are sort of smart leggings (with pockets and so on, not the kind of leggings which are sportswear or essentially underwear) and one pair of wide leg trousers. I bought mine a couple of years ago and their range changes frequently, but their heattec stuff is always warm and comfortable.

Have you tried thermals under your summer trousers?

@FurAndFeathers those wide leg cords are amazing 🤩 I’m definitely saving up for a pair!

keep an eye for sales @ScreamingInfidelities I got some lovely wide legged wool trousers for about £60 in the winter sale last year
