Brown/ caramel balayage

I've have medium- dark brown with a growing out caramel balayage (I think that is what it is!)

I quite like to put a wash in wash out colour on it one of the Superdrug ones.

Will it change/discolour the blonde bits in the balayage forever?

She didn't use bleach as my hair is fragile so she used a wella magma colour.

If you're using wash in wash out then it should wash out - but wella magma is a lightener isn't it? If the hair has been previously treated it might not wash in wash out in the same way - can you test a strip? My sister made this mistake and had funny coloured hair after Halloween last year using wash in wash out, she wasn't impressed 😬

@SpookyMcGhoul thank you this was my fear- I'd have green hair forever

Magma is a lightener. It's such a great call to do a stand test.

I will do that!

@mrsjimhopper green would definitely not be ideal 😂 that's weirdly the exact colour my sisters went!! She just looked very very ill until she got it sorted professionally. Good luck with your patch test!

Oh no! I though it might go a bit orange actually.

Glad she got sorted and also glad I asked could have easily just whacked some on.
