The best mascara that DOES NOT SMUDGE

I just bought a sample of the new Benefit They're Real magnetic mascara thing and I was so disappointed. It looked good going on but it smudged both above and below my lashes pretty quickly.

Give me the best mascara that makes your lashes look long and awesome and doesn't go anywhere even on oily skin. I have come to spend.

Currently I think I'm using a Maybelline one that I'm only using because my MIL had an unopened tube of it when I had a mascara-mergency at hwr house. Just for context.

No7 Stay Perfect one is a tubing formula and never shifts. Any tubing one will be good - the payoff is the formulas are quite dry. I'm going to try Snap Mascara next.

This is the only mascara I will use now.
No dark circles and it just washes off in the evening! Love it, have used it for years, tried plenty of others but just know I don't need to keep looking in the mirror to check my eyes with this one.

WithABiffBangPow · 04/11/2022 20:29

The No7 tubing òne, I forget what it's called but it's the only one I can use that stays where it's supposed to.

Justcannot · 04/11/2022 20:31

I love an Estee Lauder mascara. It will run in the shower, but no panda eyes in daily life.

Sewwhatmrmagpie · 04/11/2022 20:32

Hourglass caution extreme lash. I have oily eyelids and weepy eyes and it stays put. I've tried a million and one different mascaras including waterproof, this is the only one that stays put.

Ivyonafence · 04/11/2022 20:32

Try a tubing one.

astronewt · 04/11/2022 20:38

Does the Stay Perfect one give you good volume? I like the Maybelline one okay, it's not very smudgy and gives decent volume but it clumps a hit.

Any tubing mascara. The M factor one is very volumey. Also l’oriel

they aren’t quite as dramatic as non tubing but better than panda eye

also don’t put it on your lower lashes

CMOTDibbler · 04/11/2022 20:43

Blinc mascara is absolutely bombproof for me. Normally I get a lot of smudging but nothing moves with Blinc.

WhereAreWeNow · 04/11/2022 20:44

You need a tubing mascara. I have the No7 one and the Clinique Lash Power one. Both are great and don't irritate my sensitive eyes or smudge.

PeonyRose80 · 04/11/2022 20:44

Clinique lash power- it’s all I use as have sensitive eyes

Covetthee · 04/11/2022 20:44

i have spent money on many mascaras everything from chanel to poundlound

my fave has to be Primark ones. no smudging, great volume and length. hope they never stop doing them

Yep agree the Blinc tubing extra volume is the dogs full swingers. No smudging and washes off. Awesome

NameChangeLifeChange · 04/11/2022 20:47

What is tubing mascara?

OverTheHillAndDownTotherSide · 04/11/2022 20:50

Tubing mascara fan here. I import MCo Beauty’s Xtendlash and have no problems with it.

NameChangeLifeChange · 04/11/2022 20:47

What is tubing mascara?

Instead of painting lashes with a wax (which melts and smudges) tubing mascara wraps around the lashes (to form a tube) and stays there until rubbed off gently with warm water.

OverTheHillAndDownTotherSide · 04/11/2022 20:51

L’Oréal/Maybelline are nestle companies.

NameChangeLifeChange · 04/11/2022 20:55

Ah thanks @OverTheHillAndDownTotherSide does it say on the packaging if it’s a tubing formula?

Priminister · 04/11/2022 20:56

Clinique Lash Power

PicturesOfDogs · 04/11/2022 20:57

Benefits they’re real made my eyelashes really dry, and they literally snapped off.

OverTheHillAndDownTotherSide · 04/11/2022 20:57

Not usually. The removal instructions are usually the only way to tell.

astronewt · 04/11/2022 21:05

I have just discovered that lash primer is a thing. Does anyone bother with that?

OverTheHillAndDownTotherSide · 04/11/2022 21:11

I use the Clinique one under the MCoBeauty tubing mascara. Makes a huge difference. (Lashes are my thing but now in my mid 40s they take a bit more work.)

NorthernSoul55 · 05/11/2022 15:36

Aldi Too Legit waterproof. It's a dupe for a more high end one. Great volume and stays put until you take it off but you need a good remover. I don't like the thick brush so swapped it for a finer one from an old mascara.
