Comfortable shoes needed for December wedding

Please can anyone recommend a pair of comfortable heels for a December wedding.

I never wear heels, I have wide feet and have recently had ankle surgery so need something comfortable that I won't break my neck in and can hopefully dance in.

Is there such a thing?

I recommended this sandal in silver on another thread yesterday. I find them extremely comfortable and they have that chunky 70s vibe that is currently popular. I have the E fitting, but they also come in EEE too. Black would look good with your outfit.
