Dior makeup order - box delivered but empty!

Anyone else had this experience with Dior or similar? Daughter hoarded birthday money to buy makeup from Dior. Ordered directly from them. Delivered by courier. No evidence whatsoever that parcel had been opened but Dior branded box was empty. They are refusing to refund.

I had Dior perfume and gift box sent in two different deliveries last time I ordered.. Have you checked that they are not posting them separately?

Can she do a charge back on her payment card? Intact the bank

Are they on Twitter? I find most companies respond speedily if tweeted

Surprised customer service not more helpful. I've ordered makeup direct from Dior several times and never had a problem.

They use DPD next day which is usually very reliable too.

I was also going to suggest Twitter, and ask Dior why they are despatching empty boxes to paying customers? I tweeted a large car manufacturer a few months ago and the problem was resolved in a few hours

Can you establish what the scanned weight of the box with the courier was?
That way you can hopefully prove no contents.

Thanks for above. Daughter did formal letter of complaint with all facts and asked re weight and if any camera footage from packing facility. However she was sensible enough to pay by PayPal who have been very helpful and refunded her. No more ordering from Dior for us!

Good result but I still think you should shame them on Twitter!

I had this from Look Fantastic. The box was surprisingly light and I thought something was odd straight away. Completely empty box. It wasn’t clear that there was any tampering and the weight on the label would have been the correct weight had the box been full. I did think there may have been an extra piece of paper tape across the bottom box flap.

Inside was all the packaging and a piece of packaging was kind of moulded as if it had been wrapped round something. LF were great though. I sent them photos of all sides of the box and the packaging inside and they sent a replacement order.
