Mustard yellow and various pinks both go well with navy - it is navy isn't it? Very nice dress. You could make it quite sophisticated or you could go fun with something bright.

Which way would you like it to go OP?

Rose gold would work too - as it's pinky.

Thank you - it’s more a teal colour than navy - if that makes a difference? I would prefer to go more sophisticated route - any advice on shoes ? I guess nude tights would be best only slight concern is If I’ll be hot ( thanks meno!) but reception is in a bran so I’m hoping it will be cold - I won’t bother with a coat etc

I’d go no tights if you can! I think nude tights look a bit dated these days. Bit of fake tan if you think your legs need some colour. Rose gold is a very good option.

I'd choose rose gold, or gold. Gold shoes and an ivory clutch would look great.

If you'd rather wear tights, consider these: www.wolfordshop.co.uk/hosiery/tights/nude-8-tights/10272.4365.html they are amazing.

Consider your colouring too. Use your most flattering colours at the head, neck and ears. The decision on gold or silver, or a colour(s) earrings, necklace and/or scarf, cardi, wrap or coat will depend on what flatters (and what drains you).

For example a pale skinned, brown-eyed woman with salt and pepper hair would be best with silver jewellery or jewel colours. So, a cohesive pallet that suits your colouring...what are your 'pop' colours? These don't have to be brights.

Lovely sleeve to the dress btw

As a December wedding I’d pair it with leopard print shoes and a contrast clutch in a rich tone… maybe an embroidered velvet.

Would blue suede heeled ankle boots work? Hard to tell the colour.
And then maybe a bright beaded or embroidered bag with a silver chain?

Otherwise I like the idea of leopard print for either the shoes or the bag.

Something like this would be elegant but add some colour to the outfit

Thank you all at least I have some ideas now
