Cherry red DMs- how to style?

Bought a pair on a whim on Vinted. Chelsea boot style.

feeling a bit of regret now as I wanted more of burgundy pair of winter boots, and these are a true red but what’s done is done!

how would you wear them?

watching with interest as I've got a pair too...

Jeans: blue, black. Straight/skinny/mom/etc
Short skirts/dresses - I like the way stompy boots balance them.
Long skirts/dresses ( yes, I was a teenage goth obvs)

Polish with oxblood polish, it'll darken them down a bit if they are a bit too "red".

I like a cream jumper but I’m worried the red is a bit cool toned

Cherry red docs are a neutral in my mind, wear with any colour

I've got the same colour docs but the lace ups originals. They're a neutral really they go with jeans, black trousers, opaque tights and skirts. Anything.
