Gel nail colour

I'm hoping someone can advise me.
I had my gel nails done only 3 days ago and I hate the colour - don't know what I was thinking.
Do you think they can repaint over them without having to do a full file down? It's my only real self-indulgence so can't afford the full works, and neither do I want them to think I'm mad/stupid by going in to ask.

Show is the colour op? It might not be as bad as you think just different to what you're used to?

I didn't like a shade once and she painted over the top with slightly richer shade of the same colour to make it warmer which helped. I'd have thought I'd you want to change the colour completely you'd have to get them redone?

It's it's gel nails cured under the LED light, then the only way to have the colour changed is to have the gel soaked off and start again.

They are 5 shades of the same colour, from light to dark. I think I'll just have to paint over them with normal varnish and wait for my next appointment in 3 weeks. Grr, that'll teach me to experiment.
