Weak chin - what treatment?

I have a weak chin. It's genetic. My DF and DB have it too - but their beards help cover it up. I cannot grow a beard!

I'm recently had Botox for the first time (which was great) and while I was there, asked the surgeon about what she'd recommend for the problem. She suggested Aqualyx fat dissolving injections or possibly fillers instead.

Does anyone have any advice or thoughts about what would be most effective?

A photo would really help , but if you mean its too “far back” when looking at it from your side profile view then a sliding genioplasty may be what you need! They cut the chin and bring it forward and then hold it in place with a titanium plate. I had this done.

Thanks for your reply @Mostmarriedcouple. Here's a pic of someone with a similar chin/neck profile to mine. I'm really looking for a non-surgical solution though. Hope you're happy with your procedure though.

I recently had chin lipo ( I had a double chin to follow on from a neck lift I had.

I then had filler to bring my chin forward as it was recessed. See attached photo 🙂

So just to clarify I had loose skin on my neck and a double chin. I had surgery for the neck and lipo for the fat in my chin.

The filler was to bring my recessive chin forward. It was the finishing touch really and I think That's a good non surgical procedure for you to consider I think.

@Wagsandclaws hey, your results look great. Did you have any sagging skin after your lipo? I’m due to have smart lipo on my chin and neck. I have double chin and a receding chin much like you described. I’m nervous about sagging skin. How old are you? I’m 34.
