The coat of my dreams, portobello market

I'm an idiot I know, why didn't I buy it? I've been trying to work that out myself.

Dd and I went to portobello about a month ago. We were so overwhelmed by so many beautiful things! There was so much to see so we split up, I saw this coat and took a photo to show dd. The stall holder, blond lady in her 50's I'd say, was very cross about the photo taking, I apologised, and suitably chastened, slunk off. It was only later when I looked through my photos I thought 'It's the coat of my dreams, why didn't I buy it?!'

Why didn't I at least get her email. I'm kicking myself.

I have emailed the market but no luck. I've searched on instagram and Etsy.

I'm more or less resigned to it always being the 'one that got away' but there is a glimmer of hope...

Any ideas of how I can track her down? Thanks 💐

It's a kantha stitched coat. Have a look on Etsy. She probably has a shop

Gosh yes they are much cheaper on Etsy - I'm thinking of getting one now - been hankering after one of the Toast ones but not at the Toast price!

The Toast jacket is really overpriced. I've seen them in India at craft shops supporting village women for much less.

Agree Etsy and EBay will be the best options.
