Things you stockpile when on offer

I've just been in Boots and stocked up on Hydraluminous foundation and their vitamin c serum, both of which are on 3 for 2. The very obliging lady let me put it through in 2 different transactions so I could use the £5 off No7 voucher twice and also made sure I was on top of my point situation so I "saved" £45 and got a tenner in points.
I would have bought and used all of those over the course of a year so I do consider it a saving. I do recognise that I'm lucky that I can afford to pay up front for it

I bought the large Garnier micellar water ( pink lid) as it was reduced to £5 instead of £8 - and I get through loads of this : it's the only type I use. (Sometimes worth buying 2 small on offer as the £ per ml works out better)

Mitchum spray on was £2 each as opposed to £3 so grabbed a couple

The particular Colgate I like was on offer at £2.50 a tube.

Tell me about your best offers please!

I do like this!

My best one with Boots is No7 Laboratories line correcting booster serum. Usually around £35.
I use it religiously and works for me.
I gave a ridiculous stash of this one.
I've never ever paid full price and stock up up 3 or 6 at a time. By pure luck I notice it's on offer at random times.
Last time it was 3 for 2, x%off (can't remember the percentage maybe 20%off), there was some £10 off something minimum spend or a £ off No7 buy, plus extra points. Some weird complicated combination but it meant I paid about £7/each so I ended up buying 6 tubes.
Strangely, online orders work out cheaper for online orders than in the shop.
It's all so bloody complicated, why can't they just have a regular lower price???

I don't but certain products I buy whatever's on sale, eg I used to only buy Persil now I buy what ever is on sale so
If Ariel say is on, I'll buy 3, only thing I ant change is elnette hairspray lol
Stopped doing favourites a while ago and honestly don't miss things, but as stocking up goes I like having a heap of stuff shampoo, deodorants, washing pods, shower gels etc, then I'll do a few months of not buying to use it up, keep it all in the shed as well. Have my own metal rack lol, also starting stocking food stuff like coffee, mayonnaise, tins, what else, silver foil etc.

I do love a true 3 for 2 offer, I usually buy all my Neutrogena products when there is an offer on.

But, I have found shops being quite sneaky lately. There is one shop in particular here that has these offers on all the time, but they inflate the prices of each item 🙄. So, although you are saving some, to me it's not a real 3 for 2 of normal price.

They are terrible for doing this with tampons / pads.

I'll clear the shelf if it is something I know I'll use up, and go through fairly quickly.
Bought 3 huge jars of coffee - the next time I looked at them (a few weeks later as I fancied being reminded I'd got a bargain) they were 25% more expensive.
Often something I use a lot is on the Clubcard offer, and will be 2/3rd of the usual price.

Make-up and toiletries - stock up on favourites if in the clearance section, but generally buy things just because they're cheap, which results in clutter

Fellow stockpiler here 😊

My top cupboard is my stash spot. Sometimes I just open the cupboard door and marvel at its glory 😂

How it started was I got a lot of items from a shop that had their prices scanning at the incorrect price. So when I noticed I went back to the shelf and grabbed a load more, but I did tell them after I had paid. Then I moved on to clearance items, things close to their use by date that get marked down 75%. Thing like shampoo/soaps etc that will still be fine for some time after that date.

And I'm also very fortunate to have access to a lot of factory shops, so I buy cleaning items with upside down labels, items that are fine but can't be sold in the shops as the colour is wrong etc (particularly fabric softener). Then I get mishapes of sweets, biscuits, end of range and returned to supplier goods.

It really helps with my grocery bills as I only ever have to buy food on regular basis, as I usually have 6 months to a year supply of cleaning products, toiletries etc.

I only buy bulk of items that can keep well.

I even have reduced price perfumes and they really are 100% genuine and perfectly fine.

In terms of S&B I stock up on the microfine eyebrow pencil when it’s on offer in Avon, just as good as the Mac one I used to use but £15 cheaper!

I’ve also got a shelf in the cupboard at the top of the stairs full of deodorants, mouth wash and food items I buy when on special offer and use as needed. It started life as a covid stockpile shelf 😂

I might have undone all my good work by buying a jumper and some trainers in TK Maxx Blush

I stock up when tesco had the baileys for £12 with the club card, asda had it on offer last week too, food wise when doing the weekly shop I always will buy more if a item we eat weekly is on offer, for instance last week asda had goodfellas pizza 4 for £5

Avon skin so soft original spray when on offer. Brilliant abroad as prevents being bitten by mozzies, great for skin and smells lovely.
