Where do you order The Ordinary?

I’ve needed to reorder my skincare from The Ordinary for a week now but I’m faffing around cos I have a memory of feeling annoyed when I bought it from their website directly. Where do you buy it from?

for context: cleanser, a few serums, a peel and a moisturiser

I think lots of places sell it: Boots, Asos, Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty I think

Look Fantastic usually. Tends to be cheaper slightly.

Oh you didn’t know about Google? There’s a couple of alternative search engines too 🙃

I’m asking because I’ve faffed around filling baskets and then not clicking order and wondered why I felt like I had told myself not to buy from their website before…

I find buying The Ordinary products annoying too! If they weren’t such good products and good value I would give up. What I find especially annoying is that the Boots website claims to sell a wide range of them, they are on the website, but they are almost always out of stock and the same for other websites too, you just don’t know if they will be in stock or not, and they invariably aren’t😡

I now go to the Diciem store on Spitalfields market and stock up on 3 of everything I use from their range so I don’t have to go too often. There is always plenty of stock in the store. Sorry if you don’t live in London it’s not that useful.

If only Google existed...

It would be a pretty unique chat platform that only discussed things that could not be googled.

OP, i get mine from Look Fantastic.

Boots

John Lewis

ASOS, I try to get all my beauty products from there as there's 20% off very regularly.

5yearplan · 29/10/2022 08:38

Next online. I just ordered something myself and will pick it up today.

ThorsBedazzler · 29/10/2022 08:40

Niacinamide serum as it nicely sees off spots.

Buffet (changing name to some Peptide serum?) Because it's meant to help with wrinkles. Not sure.

The standard cleanser, I do like this as my skin is a lot clearer now.

HA moisturiser.

Vitamin C cream stuff. Stings a bit and feels a bit gritty but skin is lovely afterwards.

Lash serum.

Considering getting more heavy duty stuff for lines and wrinkles but can't be bothered with the faff of figuring out what I need. I don't know what chemicals or how strong a peptide or copper compound I need! Thats what baffles me most with the website and products, the thought I need to know what I need when I don't know.

theydontspeakforus · 29/10/2022 08:42

John Lewis.

PeppermintyPatty · 29/10/2022 08:43

John Lewis had good levels of in store stock the other day. If you get to £30 (or any item) you can collect from Waitrose next day for free

ThorsBedazzler · 29/10/2022 08:44

Ignore me - I didn't read properly!

I buy direct as it's quick and I don't have to put up with someone on a beauty counter asking me questions.

UserError012345 · 29/10/2022 09:13

The ordinary have a sale on during November. I'd wait till the 1st and order from them direct. Free delivery over £25.

This kind of unnecessary and unkind response really pisses me off.
Sometimes people have had bad experiences ordering from certain websites, or have found some particularly speedy/reasonable/good with offers etc.

I've clicked on this thread because I am interested in the answers, so thank you for asking OP.

Agreed.
Yet that poster clearly didn't know about the powers of Google when asking about lipstick (among many other things)

Potatomashed · 29/10/2022 21:14

Thanks everyone (mostly!), I will have a look on Tuesday if there is a sale and if not look at look fantastic. May we all have radiant skin!
