Hi

I'm looking on vinted for a second hand winter coat. Like a classic wool knee length style

What brands shall I narrow it down to? I'd like something that I wouldn't be able to afford new and will last

My jaeger coat is thick, classic and hard wearing. Looks great year after year

Jaeger, Hobbs, Jigsaw, Cos for high street but top end of high street.

Jaeger, Max Mara , possibly Windsmoor or Alexon, or Schneider which is very classic, beautifully made but well off the radar in the UK.

And if you see a Cresta label and like the shape, it will be a good one. But the label went 30-odd years ago, so it is coming from a very well off woman's wardrobe, and is being cleared out after a death. But their stuff was well made, from quality fabrics and fashionable then. Or the big old-time department store brands, like Fenwicks.

Jaeger, winser London
