I like pina coladas but not my fringe in the rain

How do you keep your bangs looking banging (sorry!) in the wet weather?

I normally clip it into a sort of quiff but my hair line is receeding and starting to resemble Jude Laws so I feel a bit exposed doing that and wondered if there was some other style I was missing.

OP I have no idea, sorry, but just wanted to show some appreciation for your thread title Grin

PoseyFlump · 27/10/2022 21:02

Love the thread title 😂

dudsville · 27/10/2022 21:04

Yes 👏 for the title!

Again, great title OP!

I have had a fringe most of my life and omg this is such an issue people don't understand! Because it's a bit part of your face! And if it doesn't look right it can make you feel really uncomfortable.
I am only happy with my fringe when I use my straighteners to somewhat curl it under (only slightly) and if it gets slightly wet it goes flat and looks shit so I actually carry in my handbag a pair of gas powered straighteners (check out Amazon!) and use these when required!!

You can have just your fringe keratin treated to keep it straight and non crazy

idonotmind · 27/10/2022 21:14

You need to move somewhere less humid

Oh the woes of a frizzy fringe

Roseyleaf · 27/10/2022 22:40

I have a big velcro hair roller in my bag so if I get rained on on the way to work I let the roller sit turning my fringe under a little smoothing it out when I nip into the loo to do my makeup for five minutes (I always do this on arrival anyway).

Whataboutno · 27/10/2022 22:43

Here for the thread title OP!

The answer is to never go out in the rain, or embrace the frizzy mess!

This is such a simple brilliant solution, great idea!

I only wear jackets with enormous hoods so no rain is getting on my fringe!
