Switching from e-Salon to box-dye hair colour - using dark blonde to cover grey roots

I have mid-brown hair with red tones and have been successfully using e-Salon dark blonde colour for the last few years to blend and cover the white hair coming through, particularly at the temples. The condition is really good even though I have to use it every 3-4 weeks to cover the white growth and the result looks natural.

I have now moved to Dubai for a job and e-Salon doesn't ship to Dubai so I'm now looking at box dye options that I can use as I can't afford to go to a salon every 3- 4 weeks to get it coloured professionally.

Can anyone recommend a particular brand of box dye? Loreal Excellence Cream & Prodigy Hair Oil and Garnier Colour Naturals are available here. Are these easy to use? Is dark blonde/6.0 a universal shade? Would dark ash blonde tone neutralise the red tones in my hair? I assume the dark blonde shade for these brands would be similar to e-Salon.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

I have used the L'Oreal and Garnier ones. They're both fine, will probably come out a shade darker than what's on the box then settle down after a couple of shampoos.

I found the ash effect ok straight after colouring and prefer it, but it gets warmer as it fades, blue shampoo is good for any orangey tones.

Thanks @TheOnlyBeeInYourBonnet , I will go for the L'Oreal ash blonde and buy some blue shampoo.

Josh Wood Colour is great and a quick Google suggests it is available in Dubai
