Skin care for puberty

Can anyone recommend a skin care routine for my daughter? She's got a lot of blackheads and is getting lots of spots. So far we've just been cleansing with Cerave but think she needs something stronger. She's only 10 and a half so nothing too harsh. Thanks!

Im following this- my daughter has just turned 10 and has the same problem - blackheads and spots, she's been using cerave when she washes her face but it's not stopping them. I remember my mum getting me some clearasil to use, but I think that's quite harsh isn't it?

Sam farmer range is really good for adolescent skin.

Effaclar Duo by La Roche Posay.
Transformed my daughter's skin at that age, and she still swears by it now for hormonal breakouts.
It's got salicylic acid in it which is the active ingredient you need to look for for oil, spots, blackheads.

Then moisturizer. A mistake lots of people make is to think that oily skin doesn't need moisture. If it doesn't get moisture, it produces its own, in the form of more oil and away you go again. LRP Toleriane or one of the Cerave ones would be good.

That sounds great. I've bought some tea tree pads as thought she might find those easier to use in the evening and have got some Nip & Fab teen acne moisturiser but will look out for the La Roche Posay.
