Mini Boden sizing

If my child is a size 10-11 but it doesn't seem to do that in this coat, it goes 9-10 and then 11-12.
Does the smaller one come up big and last longer? or would you get the bigger one earlier?
i don't get lots of boden clothes so i don't know

Mini Boden is definitely on the smaller size. Not so much for trouser length but definitely for waist and chest sizing. So if your child is a slim ten year old, the 9-10 will probably be OK, but if they are chunkier then size up. I have two DS who are very different shapes (1 is the 15th percentile, the other is the 85th). For the chunkier one I always size up, but the slimmer one is true to their sizing.

I always go up in mini boden and I have small to average size children. Agree that chest and waists can be tight
