Invisalign vivera

Hi all, finished my Invisalign and now wear the vivera overnight retainers each night. However just wondering what do you use to clean them? I find brushing is not sufficient and they are off coloured and still
Look stinky. Was thinking of use denture cleaning tablets? Any other suggestions?

Usually just use washing up liquid and a tooth brush. Don't advise tooth paste as it'll discolour them/make them cloudy. Do not use denture cleaner as these are way too abrasive. There is something called 'retainer brite' which you can soak them in - follow packet instructions. Basically follow the same routine as you would for Invisalign.

I've clearly been naughty, I use denture tablets once a week - it's a lot cheaper than the retainer brite! Mine are ok with just a quick rinse and brush each morning though.

@oceanbleu @Nejnej2 thanks , flip ok I hve been using the denture tablets every day!!🙄 I will look at the retainer brite. It’s more the germ cleaning I’m interested in rather than the colour of them - hate idea there’s germs on them and I’m putting them in all night.
