Let’s rejoice: the side parting is back!

And not before time. I’ve been reading about hair trends for 2023 and the side parting is back, though still some centre partings about in some of the fashion collections. Also curtain bangs, the wet hair look, braids, twisted knots and other 90s styles. The mullet/wolf not so much.

Hurrah! I loved my side part and still wear it occasionally. Might be time to bring it back in more permanently!

I've been wearing my hair in a side part throughout. It suits me so much better.

LadyWithLapdog · 23/10/2022 18:21

I told my DDs about it and they didn’t want to believe it. We’ll see come next Spring who was right. They were in agreement with the other trends.

Mid 0art7bgvwas fashionable all through my youth. Then I went to a new hairdresser and they asked where my parting was then said 'no' 😂

They were right, ive quite a large nose, side looks much better.

I wouldn't take fashion advice from a teenager. And they wouldn't be looking at their parents for style tips.

I think it depends more on a face shape than fashion which one suits you more. I prefer slight side parting, otherwise I look like dude 😐
