I'm in the process of going from red back to blonde and this is my third lightning treatment. I've got it down light enough so now it's time for a toner. I have Wella colour charm (ash blonde) T14 which is best to neutralise orange hair, and T18 which is best to neutralise yellow tones.

I can't decide which one will be best to use based on my current hair shade- can anyone help? I will combine it with a T 50 additive at 20 developer and leave for ~ 20 mins.

That shade could take another lightening with either bleach or high lift tint, Wella Koleston Perfect 12/81 would take the rest of the yellow & orange tones out & then use purple shampoo afterwards. High lift tint used with 6% developer wouldn't damage your hair, you can buy it on Amazon, apply, cover with a shower cap or clingfilm, leave for an hour then wash out, condition or use a treatment.

Thanks for the advice- so you don't think it's light enough to put a toner on now? What would happen if I tried to tone at the ash blonde like I planned?

I've got a party this weekend and I don't really have time to order anything else online 😥
