Grey hair care

Hi,

I am growing out my grey hair. There’s about 4 inches of it. But it seems a bit drier and more unruly than the rest of my hair. I do get dry ends but a hydrating conditioner and olaplex 6 sorts that.

As my hair is quite fine I don’t want to put conditioner or olaplex 6 on my roots.

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations of a good hair regime for grey hair.

I think if you have fine hair, you could just condition the shaft and ends Of your hair and avoid the roots? My grey hair needs a lot of moisture, it’s curly though so it tends to look dry anyway. Redken do a good range

Thank you. I will have a look at redken.

I really struggle with the 3 hair textures at the moment. I may have to just persevere

My previous hairdresser said as they grey comes through( I have dark brown hair) spray the root touch on in dark, nope why should I do that, I’m trying to get away from dark I’m letting mine all come through. I’m quite confident so i let it all come through naturally so I’ve lots of dark still in and lots of greys coming through. I know not everyone will do this as they maybe are more concerned how others see them, and how it looks but me I really couldn’t careless🤣I’ve had not one person say it looks rough, they have said I’m brave to not worry about covering up but like I’ve said it’s only hair, I’ve got mine in a chin length Bob that’s cut every 4/5 weeks so looks neater, but I’d do the same if I had long hair. I tried to post pic but for some reason it won’t let me. I’m really excited for mine to completely come through, there are some beautiful pics of dif greys posted online. My hair is fine although hairdresser my new one says there’s a lot of it, she’s brilliant. I’m loving seeing all the ladies posting pics.they all look great, all you need is perseverance. Good cut as it comes through and like some say the confidence to have a go, and if you don’t like it after you have changed your make up etc you can always go back to dyeing it
