Baggier jeans and boots

I have slowly transitioned into looser fitting jeans. I never thought I would stop wearing my skinny jeans but I have found a baggier style that suit me. I usually wear straight/girlfriend/mom jeans with trainers, but I am finding that they are not very flattering with boots. Any advice on how to style a baggier Jean with Chelsea boots?

What kind of boots are you wearing with them?
I quite like a slightly rolled up straight leg with DMs or similar.

Boots with a narrow pointed toe to balance out the fabric at the ankle would work, like these 2 pairs for example shop.mango.com/gb/women/shoes-leather/heel-leather-ankle-boot_37054388.html

I think it’s just a case of getting used to what it looks like. I wear DMs with jeans like mom or barrel legs, rolled up to just above the boot with wool socks.

I think they look great with boots but for me, i find they look sloppy with loose or chunky jumpers. This bothers me as I want the best of both!

Odd advice here, it seems a bit late 2000's.
Most are wearing loose fit jeans with hiker, blundstone, docs, and chelsea boots with a thicker sole now. Add to that, visible thick socks. That seems to be the thing of the moment.
Im not a fan of trends, but it would be difficult not to notice them.

I was going by what I see as well, even Sezane and Marcela London style loose fit jeans with a more delicate boot

Hiking boots are a bit 2018.
