Comfortable, flat, black, knee-high boots

I'm after a good comfortable pair of flat, black knee-high boots. I don't mind if they're suede or leather but comfort is key. I'd like a pair that can look just as good with casual clothes as with formal clothes. My budget is around £200. Not too tight around the calves either!

I went in with a high budget and ended up with a pair from New Look online of all places having sent back all from usual stores. My friend suggested it and they are superb, like slipper, smart and wide calf. V v good price.

Seasalt have some called Towpath black knee high boots for £150, all of my ankle boots from there have been comfortable

@BrownTableMat are they comfortable to walk in?

Not gonna lie, I bought a very acceptable pair in Primark for £22.

The best pair I ever bought were from Asda. Black, flat, soft leather, they were about 50 quid.

Do they Tayla boots come up to the knees? This picture makes them look mid calf but that might just be because the model has giraffelike proportions.

I ended up trying quite a few pairs but settled on these ones from Shuh which are by far the most comfortable
