Suggestions for a wedding outfit

I’ve got a wedding in March and would really appreciate any ideas!
the particulars are-
all day invite to a Scottish castle wedding.
I’m 5’6ish and a size 8/10, bring more specific I’m a 6/8 on top, an 8 waist and 8/10 bum and thighs. Im very fair and don’t intend to use self tan.
Any suggestions or styles you’ve seen?
I’m generally clueless and really appreciate input from others.

That velvet dress in pink would be lovely with your colouring but not a maxi. I would have it taken up to a midi.

Do you know what the day involves? Scottish castle would suggest to me there might be a ceilidh in which case you would need something that you can dance in and wouldn't leave you boiling but would be warm enough for the early part of the day.
