Right, I went ahead and bought the dress. I actually think it doesn't look too bad on me. I am overweight (just over a stone) and I think the dress hides that a little bit and it also doesn't accentuate my C-section pooch. I bought it in a size 14. Picture attached 😂

I think cord is a strange fabric for a dress as it won't have the movement of a lighter material . I like the colours but cord is best for dungarees imo

Boden its good quality but uts not my style at all. I find it quite tacky. My go to shop always reiss, lk bennet or cheaper version m&s. I like classy look and for me boden its not classy look.

I agree that the shape is not bad for your figure.

I struggled to see what body shapes it would flatter (badly doens't flatter those tall skinny models) but I can see how it suits OP. I don't like the belt, it breaks up the dress lines visually, but I suppose you see the belt least on the black version.

i wonder if it would work well on the larger of nork with a tum they wanted to de-emphasise. The poofy sleeves & collared wrists would drive me batty. Glad you like it, though, OP.

I don’t think it’s particularly flattering or that the belt works.

I love a cord dress but they are not fashionable ( and neither am I)

I have 3 previous season ones from Boden. They do get quite warm so cant wear on a night out somewhere crossed.

Nice in the lighter blue with the print. I don’t like any of the other options.
