What do you all think of this Boden dress?

corduroy dresses always hang funny and sit funny. I don't think it's a fabric that lends itself well to that kind of style.

And the high neck and long sleeves with the shorter hem. Eh, it's just not working for me.

Never been a fan of that kind of print. Gives me Kat slapper I mean skater vibes

I hate the print.

The waist looks too high, as if it would make your body look really short. So many dresses have waists that are too high for me, I find it really sad and annoying!

I know what you mean. Seems to be the case everytime I see a dress I like!

Even the tall, slim, gorgeous model looks bad in it!

How unflattering can they make a dress?

High neck with stiff material and belted. This will create a massive false boob effect. Ugh!

Looks awful. Horrible print, horrible colour and horrible horrible style.

I like it, I have lots of very similar style dresses in different fabrics. I find them very easy to wear, I’m short and they look nice with one of my leather jackets.

The other colourways look better. You can actually see the shaping and style. That brown one is too busy.

I’ve never, ever seen a cord dress that looked good on ANYONE.

I like it, but it's too short. The length is like a summer dress and doesn't tie in with the thick material and autumn colours I think it should be a lot longer.

I quite like the blue version, and would wear with thick tights and boots. I'm tall and slim.

I like it and disagree with a lot of the comments, I think if you're fuller figured it wil look great. It will give it some shape. I had a very similar dress made out of denim and it was lovely. I like the rose and the navy.

Nope…. And generally I like Boden dresses. I would always wait for a Boden sale though. They are great.

I think it would be awful on a fuller figure. At that length it would just make a fuller figure look like a cube.

I would be sweating in that at any time of year other than the depths of winter, when I would probably be freezing because you can't layer anything over it 😂

I’ve just ordered it in blue, I love the cuffs and I have so many different black boots, tights, bags and jackets I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of it.

Right - I know there's a lot of negative feedback on the dress, but there's something about it I really like - I have just ordered it in a size 14 in navy. Fyi, I am 5'6 and currently about 1.1 stones overweight (thanks babies and hot chocolate!).
So this is a dress that according to a lot of posters shouldn't look good on me ( I am neither tall nor slim)

I love it! Prefer it in the blue and plain colours though but that's just because that reddish print wouldn't suit me. I think I might get it myself.

I buy Boden but I don't like that dress.

It's not flattering except on someone tall and skinny ( 6-8 max.)

Maybe in a longer length and without the weird puffy sleeves, but most women would like like a sack of spuds in it.

I think it’s just ok. Personally it’s too short for me but try it and see.

I don’t think that’s the right style of dress for the cord fabric and the dress proportions/cut just look wrong.

Personally, for me, I can’t wear anything with that type of fathering where the arm sleeve meets the shoulder. Just looks all wrong.

Well, maybe not fuller then, but shapely. When I was a size 14 with big boobs it would've looked amazing on me, but now I'm a 16 with a tummy not so much. I was more disagreeing with the posters saying you need to be straight up and down.
