See through bits in a dress

Could not really think of a better title...

I recently got this dress for an outing, but the but in the middle is see through (just like sleeves), but a LOT more visible than in the photos as the gap seems much wider when the dress is on and I'm not a fan.
Any ideas how this could be styled, I dont know if wearing a pastel cami in similar colour would not look a bit weird?

I think pastel cami would be good.

Do you actually like it as it is? Or as you imagined it to be? I've made the mistake of keeping items that I think can 'make work' when really I should have just returned, got my money back, and bought something I like as it is off the peg.

@SummaLuvin I love the colour and everything else, I have jewellery that would work with it too. But yeah, the gap is just wider than on the photos (I looked it up on the brand's website before) and the skin is showing off a lot more. I can't return as it was a vinted purchase, but was only a tenner, I could sell on but hope to give it at least one wear!

What about something like this under? I have been browsing at M&S and found this: https://www.marksandspencer.com/reversible-full-slip-with-cool-comfort-technology/p/clp22125744?intid=mobileappppdpshare

The problem is getting it to “look right” when the arms are designed like this and the middle is supposed to match. You could try something in a contrasting colour underneath but l’m not sure that would work either.

To be honest, I would try wearing it as it is meant to be worn and then see how l really felt about it. Clearly the middle is meant to match the sleeves. In wearing it when you go out a few times as opposed to looking at yourself in front of the mirror, you might be pleasantly surprised. I’d wear it.

Nude fitted strapy top underneath.

Snap!

I don't think contrasting cami will look great, unless I maybe went dark green? I thought of cami but finding one in the same colour will be tricky, I saw all sorts of shades but none that would be this pale/pastel green.
And I really don't feel that comfortable without anything, also, the bra would show and I can't go braless with pretty big boobs, so I'd then have to invest in something that keeps them supported as well...

Ugh what's with see through clothing? Like the point of wearing it is to cover my body?
