I'm not sure what your question is, but looks really natural

Mellowday · 11/10/2022 13:36

I a have name changed for this.!
So , ive been on the it cc cream wensite for 3 hours trying to get a vid chat. To no avail.
I bought light a few days ago on line. It is dark orange on me.
I would really appriciate suggestions for what shade( not dark i am v pale in winter)
In
Usual formula
And
Illumanation formula.
I really dont want to waste another 32 pounds ! .thanks !!

Could you try mixing a bit of the light with your usual moisturiser?

limoncelloo · 11/10/2022 13:54

Yes the light will be far too dark for your skin, I've been using this for years and all throw quite warm. I use light-medium and have olive skin and even the light medium is quite dark.
In the normal formulation I would be going for fair beige? I think the standard fair would still be far too warm/orange for your skin. I would even lean towards ivory...
That's in the normal formula can't help with the other I'm sorry.

TheConicalFlask · 11/10/2022 13:54

I think the colour Fair would be best for your skin tone.

limoncelloo · 11/10/2022 13:56

Oh just realised I do have some of the illuminating formula! Barely used as I think I found it too glittery. The standard formula is quite glowy I would try and find a colour you are happy with in that first.

Thanks all . The light was soooo orange on me !

No idea what shade but if you buy it from qvc you can send it back even after you’ve opened and tried it out.

Mellowday · 11/10/2022 14:53

Wow. Thanks !

I'm so disappointed too! I went in to boots and saw fair and light in store but neither was quite right. Fair was too light and light was too dark. So I took a punt and ordered online fair light as isn't wasnt in store to try. It's so orange :( will stick to my trusty Erborian next time....

HundredMilesAnHour · 11/10/2022 16:44

IT CC cream shades are quite limited, although they used to only have 3 so it's a big improvement compared to their early days.

Light will definitely be too dark for you (in the beginning it was their palest shade hence the name but they realised they were missing out a huge chunk of people with paler skin!). I think Fair-Light will be best for you as Fair-Ivory tends to look 'morgue fresh' 😂

Although you have great skin so I'd actually suggest you go with Erborian BB creme instead (in shade Nude). It's very flattering and looks completely natural yet somehow enhances your skin. Best BB cream ever!! (I'm not a fan of Erborian's CC creme though as their lightest shade is just too dark for me).

JMAngel1 · 11/10/2022 17:53

I say don’t bother/ your skin is gorgeous and doesn’t need any coverage. Plus IT CC is not like a CC cream - it’s more like a full on foundation. Erborian CC or BB much more subtle. You would be clair in erborian.

Mellowday · 11/10/2022 18:49

Ah thanks ! I actually have the claire in eboriam . !

Is this it cosmetics? What an eye opener, I always thought they had a huge range and assumed fair light to be perfect but I sound like a lot of you!!
