Inspired by another thread 😊 I'm due a nail infil & could use some inspiration. Show me your autumn nails please ladies 🥰

I have stubby fat old looking hands that wouldn’t look amiss on a battered cheap doll. Nails are shocking too. I daren’t look at my feet.

I covet your paws.

I went for navy in the end.

These are my Halloween nails. They look like green tigers eye in the light. Done with a magnetic gel polish.

I’ve got black glitter, the glitter is quite subtle so doesn’t come out on the pic 😟I’m enjoying it though - more Halloween-y than autumnal.

They're so easy! I use dotting tools like these but you could use the end of a hairgrip. Start with a base of black then put a drop of white polish on something like some foil or waxed paper (the peel-off backing of sticky labels works well) and dip your dotting tool into it then put a dot on your nail. Repeat for all your nails, then do it again with smaller dots using black for the pupils, then top coat it all. It does take quite a while to dry if you're using polish rather than gel.

Not particularly autumnal, but I’ve fallen in love with Holo Taco. These are Mint Mojito on the left, and Violet Nightmares on the right (swapped over yesterday)

Another 'not very autumnal' set but I just bought a load of Mylee colours and can't resist neons at the moment.

Nude nails are never boring. They are so chic and what I aspire to. Since reading this thread I bought myself some orange sticks and some cuticle remover and a lovely nudey/peach Sally Hansen polish. I didn’t do the best job as I have tiny nails and the brush was flat and quite wide but they do look better . I am so impatient that I smudged them within half an hour.Going to take more care of them from now on. Inspired by your lovely talons!

I got biab gel done for the first time last week and my nails already feel much stronger!

But how often do people get gel nails redone/infilled? Mine are on day 9 now and already looking quite grown out. I’m not booked to have them re-done til later this month (the salon recommended 3 weeks) but I think they’ll look pretty bad by then. But at £35 a time it’s so expensive!

@Work2live I go every two weeks. It is really expensive but I do feel mine really need doing after two weeks.
